Great Plains Communications was founded in 1983 in Wichita, Kansas, by Jim and Rhonda Bevilacqua. Jim believed it was possible to deliver cutting edge communications technology with outstanding customer service. His vision was to build a company by developing long‐term customer relationships, a superior reputation and a company‐wide commitment to client satisfaction.

With a strong background in the telecommunications industry, it wasn’t long before the company had developed dealer status with Panasonic, Toshiba and NEC. At the same time, customers with just about any type of phone system sought out Great Plains Communications because of its reputation for responsiveness and customer service.

Before long, Great Plains Communications had become a valuable business telephony provider for more than 3,000 customers throughout Kansas, even securing deals with accounts across the United States because of specific expertise in certain industries.

The company has a solid commitment to giving its customers the highest level of technical expertise available anywhere. The team of technicians at Great Plains Communications has an average of 19 years of telephony experience, and they constantly train to stay up on the latest advances in technology.
